Individual Counselling

A private, one-to-one space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, emotions, and personal challenges. At RN Care, counselling is offered with empathy, respect, and confidentiality, helping you understand yourself better, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward at your own pace.

Your Space. Your Pace.
1-to-1 Support

Understanding Your Concerns

The first sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding what you are going through, and identifying the concerns that matter most to you. You can share at your own pace in a safe, respectful, and confidential space, helping create a clearer understanding of the support you may need.

Setting Personal Goals

Together, we identify meaningful goals based on your concerns, needs, and expectations. These goals help give direction to the counselling process and may focus on emotional well-being, confidence, relationships, coping skills, decision-making, or personal growth.

Building Insight & Coping Skills

As sessions continue, you are supported in exploring your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences with greater clarity. Through reflection, supportive conversations, and practical strategies, counselling can help you understand patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence.

Questions You May Have

The first session is mainly about understanding you, your current concerns, and what you would like support with. There is no pressure to explain everything at once—you can begin with whatever feels comfortable.

That is completely understandable. Opening up can take time, especially when the subject feels personal or difficult. You can share at your own pace, and there is no need to talk about anything before you feel ready.
There is no fixed number of sessions for everyone. The frequency and duration depend on your concerns, goals, comfort, and progress, and can be discussed as the counselling process develops.
Yes, online counselling may be available for those who prefer remote support or are unable to attend in person. The most suitable format can be discussed when arranging your appointment.
